Shipping & Returns Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs are as follows:
All orders are posted through the South African Post Office as an ordinary parcel. Couriers services can be used at an additional fee.
Shipping costs depends on the weight and volume of the item/s ordered. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Insurance costs are not included in the price paid. If insurance is needed for shipping, an additional 3% of the value of the order can be paid. The client must let us know if any insurance is to be added for shipping else none will be paid for.
Clients can elect to arrange their own transport or shipping, by doing this they will be charged R0 for shipping.

Orders in South Africa:
We will ship to any address inside South Africa, we ship all our orders to the nearest post office to the client.

Orders outside South Africa:
We currently only ship within the borders of South Africa, if you live elsewhere please contact us for a quote on shipping.

Shipping Policy:

Products are usually dispatched from our offices between one and seven working days after payment has been confirmed, it sometimes can take up to 14 days (stock items in South Africa), if this is the case we will communicate this to you. Payment confirmation usually takes less than 24 hours for EFTs, although this does differ depending on which banks are involved. Shipping speeds depend on stock levels and shipping method chosen. Shipping times are an estimate and are not guaranteed. Outlying areas may experience delayed shipping. If a delivery is delayed for any reason, the customer will be contacted via email. Once orders has been shipped to the client the post office usually takes 3 - 5 days to deliver to the final destination (Inside South Africa).

Not all the items listed are in stock in South Africa but will be shipped directly from Germany to our local offices when you place the order with us, the estimated time for delivery to our offices in South Africa is between 7 and 14 days. Items that are in stock in South Africa will be listed for a premium price, items that are in Germany will be listed at a discounted price. If stock take longer than 14 days to reach us we will refund the shipping paid by the client and ship the order FREE of charge to them. If the client orders something that we need to get from Germany and it is needed urgently we can get it couriered to us at an additional fee, clients must contact us in advance to find out what the price would be should such an urgent order be required.

Should a product not arrive or arrive damaged, please contact the service provider of the transport service in question first.
Should a product not be immediately available, the customer will be contacted and given the option of a refund or placing a back order for the product. Because we strive to offer a wide range of products to the community, including unusual and hard to source products, some of our products have a lead time before the order can be shipped. Orders that include custom built parts will take longer. We also test some of the equipment to make sure little or no manufacturer built faults occur.

Returns Policy (non-faulty products):
If a client is not satisfied with a purchase, it can be returned within seven days of the delivery for a refund which equals the total price paid less the shipping costs, after seven days a 15% re-stocking fee will also be deducted. Additionally, goods need to be returned in a resalable condition.

All products being shipped back to 3S Tech must be repackaged into their original packaging. Should a product be damaged while being shipped to our offices 3S Tech will not be liable for the damages. We therefore recommend that you insure your products when shipping them back to us, and make sure that they are properly packaged.


Returns / Warranty Policy (faulty products):
Due to the mass production effect it does happen sometimes that products are faulty and we understand the frustration behind this.
- All products are covered by the original manufacturers warranty.
- Should you have a product that has failed during the warranty period, please contact us to begin the RMA process.
Shipping costs to 3S Tech are for the account of the client. Costs to return the warranty repaired item to the client will be covered by 3S Tech.
- Please note that the final decision on swap outs / repairs is made by the manufacturer or agents.
